The project "Doub;ethink" took inspiration from a unique type of art, /锦灰堆/, started from Ming Dynasty, this type of art using burnt down pieces of letter, paint, ceramic rubbing, and paint the whole scene  on a paper fan.

 

Gives an image of how the content inside the original photos shall communicate with the location and atmosphere outside the frame. All the viewers, camera, or even a pale shade of light that is innocent to any content inside that photo, are now forced to have a conversation with them. The inbox of the conversation, however, is left empty but with another layer of alienation.
